The following components assist the candidate in exploring a possible call to the Congregation of JMJ:
Meeting with the vocation facilitator either in person or via technology at least once a month.
Accompaniment by the vocation facilitator in exploring a possible call to religious life.
Sharing with the vocation facilitator and others, as appropriate, her story of faith and lived experience and discernment of God’s invitation.
Ongoing conversation around the following topics: personal history, decision-making process with family and friends, relationship with God, Church and religious life, commitment, and service.
Spiritual direction, participation in a retreat (short/weekend) as part of the discernment process.
Participation in the liturgical and sacramental life of the Church. Introduction to the charism and history of JMJ and the life and vision of Father Mathias Wolff.
Sharing opportunities for growth during formation and deepening of faith. Completion of the application process, if the discernment leads to the decision to continue in the formation process.
