A 2 day seminar on child Abuse protection was conducted for parents and students at O.L.F School Porumamilla. The main objective of the seminar was to Create awareness about different from of child abuse, ways to identify them and the measures to protect children from such incidents. The first day program was conducted mainly for parents emphasizing the importance of building a safe and supportive environment for children at home. On the following day, students were given awareness on the legal Acts and the services of child helpline.The program aimed to empower parents with the knowledge and confidence to safe guard their children from all forms of abuse and to promote open communication within families. The seminar was concluded with a pledge by parents to create a safe, caring and abuse free environment for every child. The 2 days seminar was very informative and successfully fulfilled the purpose of spreading awareness and responsibility among the community.
